The Aransas Pass varsity Panthers hit the road for their third district matchup, taking a loss at the hands of the Lyford Bulldogs, 37-6, bringing them to 1-2 in district, and 1-5 overall.

Aransas Pass and Lyford each came into the game at 1-1 in district, looking to get a win and and George West and San Diego close for the top spot. The Panthers defensive woes continued as the Bulldogs took first possession finishing that drive with a touchdown and successful two-point conversion going up 8-0. On the ensuing kickoff the Bulldogs recovered a squib kick in Panther territory setting up another quick scoring drive, for a 16-0 lead.
