The Aransas Pass High School varsity Panthers baseball team fell to Odem, but came back to beat Goliad last week and hold a 3-4 district record, and are 5-9-1 on the season.

The Panthers hosted Odem Tuesday, April 2, and lost 6-1. Odem scored first and often, four runs in the top of the second, and one each in the top of the third and and fourth, to take the early lead. The Panthers scored only one run in the bottom of the sixth, and had only three hits in the game.

Dylan Cole and Tyler Murphy led Aransas Pass, each with a 2 for 3 performance. Marcus Ortiz scored the run batted in (RBI).

Will Arrington took the loss for Panthers. He surrendered six runs on five hits over four innings, walking one. Christian Adame pitched three innings, giving up three hits, and striking out three.
