The Aransas Pass High School varsity Panthers baseball team went 1-1 in district games played last week and are now sitting at 2-3 in district, and 4-8-1 on the season.

The Panthers suffered a walk-off loss Tuesday, March 26, 3-2, to the Taft Greyhounds.

Taft scored one run in the first inning, but the Panthers took the lead in the top of the second as Brendon Burns and Dylan Cole each drove in a run. The hosts added another run in the bottom of the fifth inning.

The game was tied at two in the bottom of the seventh when Taft scored the goahead run.

Dylan Samora took the loss for the Panthers in six and a third innings, allowing three runs on seven hits, striking out four and walking none.
